We will have a traditional Shrimp Boil on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 4pm-8pm. This will include one dozen large Gulf shrimp, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, new potatoes, and celery for only $12. These are all boiled in our spicy Louisiana shrimp boil. Shrimp boils occur every Friday from 4pm-8pm. We hope to see you there!
We also were honored to be featured in the Springfield Newsleader on September 20, 2018 in an article entitled, "Shrimp and Bayou Classics- Home to Great Cajun Food," so check us out!
Lastly, our Shrimp Po'boy was recognized as one of the Six Amazing Sandwiches to try in Springfield in the Springfield Newsleader.
Beaudreaux & Thibadeaux News 3.27.19
Monday morning, we got a call here at the Shack and it was Beaudreaux all excited because he and Thibadeaux loaded up with jumbo frog legs. It was hard to understand him, he was talking so fast, but what I got was, “Da wader be so high it pushed all dem really big frogs right out da bayou, along wid a whole slew of big gators!”
So, we decided that even though it is crawfish season, we couldn’t pass up doing a SWAMP SATURDAY AT SHRIMP AND BAYOU CLASSICS. We will have jumbo hand-breaded, made to order frog legs, blackened gator and fried gator baskets, all served with greens & Cajun sausage and jalapeno cornbread.
If you love frog legs, don’t miss your chance! These jumbos are hard to come by and as far as we know, SHRIMP AND BAYOU CLASSICS is the only place to get them.

NEW FOR 2019!!!
Many of our customers have become fans of our Saturday specials. From char-grilled oysters to Cajun steak tips, many follow our Facebook page on Thursdays to see what we have up our sleeve for Saturday. So this year, we are going to add one more feature to look forward to:
THIS WEEK’S ‘NOT ON THE MENU’ PO’BOY
Along with our creative specials each week, we will feature a Po’boy that we often make for ourselves but don’t have on our regular menu and serve it Thursday through Sunday.
Roast beef Po’boys, Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp Po’boys, BBQ Chicken Tender Po’boys…it sounds crazy but many places in New Orleans even serve a French Fry Po’boy smothered in gravy!
“Lassais le bon temps rollier,” which means, “Let the good times roll!”
